This is my recipe for a chunky guacamole. I primarily prepare this as a dip or side for parties.
This is a recipe tailored to serve groups of 8+ and to be accompanied with corn chips or sliced carrots / celery. Adjust for your needs.
Ingredients:
- 4 avocados (ripe)
- 4 – 6 garlic cloves depending on your taste
- 1 tomato
- 1/2 red onion
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- Coriander depending on your taste
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 2 tsp salt
Tools / Equipment:
- Knife for chopping
- Large bowl
- Potato masher (preferably metal)
Recipe:
- Peel and dice avocados
- Chop garlic finely
- Dice tomatoes
- Dice red onion
- Chop coriander
- De-seed and chop jalapeno pepper
- Place all ingredients into a large bowl
- Mash and mix ingredients together using potato masher until you reach desired consistency
- Serve with dipping food of choice or as a side
